No. of Houses vacant on Raaf Base Darwin
Its got to be a worry when people come into your shop and say that they are leaving town because they cannot find affordable housing in Darwin and here we are with 124 houses that are vacant and will eventually be demolished because some autocrat in Canberra deems that to be a good idea.
Still Defence chooses not engage the businesses or community in regards to this matter.
Still the Local “Labor” Government chooses to sit on their hands and do nothing but comply with edicts from south, and all the while we have to decide as to whether it is a good idea to even risk spending more money to move elsewhere or just close………….bloody pathetic!!!

Yes I agree but I have also heard a rumour that the defence department does have a use for that land and they sent out communication before the last election that they did not care who wins the election there is nobody that can stop them doing what they intend to do with that land. Um the general said that they did not have any use an out right lie on her part tsk tsk general.
